Caring for the Forgotten: How Churches in Zambia Are Changing Lives
The School of Peace provides Gaza refugee children with education, daily meals and a safe space to heal, helping restore
This month we are looking at Red Letter Project (RLP), and at Jordan Ames who stepped into the role of leading the project in September 2023. Jordan shared that the mission of RLP is to “disrupt human trafficking operations in East Africa by working with government and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in order to cultivate healthy societies where the evil of human trafficking no longer prevails.” We understand that this is a great big vision. However, we also know that we serve a great big God, who has a great big heart for His children, and who is greatly distressed and angered by this evil. But, He is also patient to touch lives and draw His children on both sides of this evil to Himself. RLP is strategically positioned to be the Master’s hands and feet in countering the evil of human trafficking in East Africa.
Jordan is no stranger to facing big tasks and human trafficking is a monumental problem worldwide. As a former Marine Raider Officer (retired 2022) he commanded high risk, sensitive operations in hostile, austere conditions. He worked with host nation security forces and local nationals collaborating for the betterment of their country and countrymen. He and his wife have 7 children, 6 of them adopted. Two are from East Africa and he is passionate about this part of the world and what is happening there.
Since January 2024, our team at RLP has been on the front lines—working tirelessly to disrupt human trafficking in the region. In partnership with local police and other organizations:
But rescuing is only the beginning.
At RLP, we believe in more than intervention—we believe in education, restoration, and empowerment.
Join the Movement: 1,000 Donors Strong
