Advancing Unity in the Body of Christ

Over the next few months we will introduce several new projects that have recently joined Tying Vines. It’s exciting to see and hear about how God is moving in the world and we are grateful to be a part of His work.

Our first introduction this year is for Pam Lilly Ministry. Pam’s non-profit ministry centers around leadership training for Christian ministry leaders and most specifically women serving in leadership arenas. Pam, who worked more than 20 years in the business world, changed careers more than a decade ago . She began working in development for Faith Comes By Hearing. She then served with Cru as the Director of Development for StoryRunners®, and during her last two years there, she also served in a dual role as the Director of Communications for Oneness and Diversity..

Pam is also an author and it is in this direction that she feels she has been called in ministry and work. The best way to encapsulate her present focus is that she wants to serve and minister through the spoken and printed work. In 2019 she published Mary Morning, Martha Day and is now working on several other books. “It is time to move them from under the bed into the marketplace.”

Her passion and hope is that she will be able to use her writing and speaking opportunities in 3 arenas.  Firstly, to inspire Christians into a deeper intimacy with Jesus. Secondly to help Christian leaders to enjoy the work they are called to do. And perhaps most importantly she wants to promote oneness in Christ in the Body of Christ. Pam, in a recent conversation, said that she hopes that lending her story to the conversation can in some way advance unity in the body. “It breaks my heart that we as Christians could be leading others by being unified and we are not.“ Although she is not fond of being “in the fray” her passion comes from knowing that she needs to follow God and obey. Our divisions are costing souls. “Jesus prays for oneness and unity in John 17…that the world may know you have sent me and have loved them as you have loved me.”

Pam hopes to work in smaller intimate groups and trainings so that more reflections and self contemplation can take place and bring change.

“If we profess to have the answer, then we need to be the answer.” Pam wants to help others reach that potential and see them “thrive in their Kingdom calling.”

Welcome to Tying Vines, Pam! We are excited to be a part of your calling.
